From any direction, exit the A-8 motorway towards the city centre. Follow the signs for Bilbao City Hall, we are 450 metres away. A very useful landmark is the Guggenheim Museum, located just over 500 metres from the hotel, on the other side of the Bilbao River. The hotel is situated in front of the Bilbao River, exactly halfway between these two landmarks: the City Hall and the Guggenheim Museum.

The best reference point is the Zubizuri Bridge (commonly known as the Calatrava Bridge), a white pedestrian bridge with a “suspension” design.

How long does it take to/from the airport? Between 15 and 20 minutes (by car).

Arriving at Bilbao Airport, you have three options to reach the hotel:

From the airport, public transport is available and will take you to the city centre. The Bizkaibus A3247 bus runs every 20 minutes. The recommended stop is Plaza Moyua.

From there, you can walk for 10–15 minutes, going down Ercilla Street, then crossing the Zubizuri Bridge (also known as the Calatrava Bridge), until you reach the hotel.

Approximate cost per person: 1.35 euros.

Timetable: From the city centre of Bilbao, buses run from 5:20 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every 20 minutes. From the airport, from 6:20 a.m. to midnight every 20 minutes.

You can take a taxi at the airport. The journey takes around 15 minutes (depending on traffic and time of day), with an approximate cost of 25 to 30 euros. It will take you directly to the hotel entrance.

Most taxis are equipped with POS terminals for credit card payments (please ask the driver before getting in).

(From reception, we can also call a taxi for you; they usually arrive within 2 to 5 minutes at the hotel entrance.)

The train will take you to Bilbao’s main station, Abando, which is less than a 12-minute walk from the hotel. You can walk across the Arenal Bridge, reach the Arriaga Theatre, and, keeping the Nervión River on your left, enjoy a pleasant walk to the hotel.

As a reference point, once you pass the City Hall, you are already halfway there. Continue straight ahead and you will find us.

If you are carrying luggage, you can take a taxi and it will bring you to the hotel in just a few minutes.

Tram: There is a stop right in front of the hotel, across the river, called URIBITARTE. It is the best option for travelling to/from the hotel around Bilbao.

Bus: Depending on your starting point within the city, the most convenient lines are BILBOBUS. Lines: 11, 71, 77 and 22. They stop just in front of the hotel.

Bicycle: If you are cycling, Bilbao has a dedicated bike lane network known as Bidegorri, marked in red, which runs right in front of the hotel.

On foot: For those arriving on foot or with a backpack, the driving directions provided are the best reference to guide you step by step to our location. Or as we like to say, “a bit on foot and a bit walking”.

Metro: It is about a 10-minute walk, and depending on where you are coming from or going to, the nearest stations are Moyua and Casco Viejo. Please ask at reception and we will guide you.
